Using the site:

Why should I use FloodTheLines.com for my call campaign?
By using FloodTheLines.com for your campaign, all participants will have a unique date and time to call.  This produces a steady 'flood' of calls which increases the effectiveness of the campaign.  Also, campaign organizers have the ability to monitor participation and results.

 

Why should I call instead of email?
While emailing your concerns provides a quick and simple solution, email can be very easily filtered and deleted which means you never really know if your message is being received. By calling, some person must manually deal with each and every call. Even if you leave a voicemail message, someone will have to listen to it before deleting, which means your message still gets delivered.

 

How much does it cost to use FloodTheLines.com?
There is absolutely NO COST to use FloodTheLines.com.

 

How do I register to use FloodTheLines.com?
Simply access the site – www.floodthelines.com and select New User? Register! on the left side of the page to go to the registration page.

 

Can anyone create a campaign?
Our Terms and Conditions state that anyone over the age of 15 can create and join a campaign.

 

Why are time zones required?
FloodTheLines.com is an online tool which supports users all over the country. To make it easy to use, your call time is adjusted based on the time zone of the person you are calling.

 

Can I see how many people have joined my campaign?
Yes. After logging in, select Created Campaigns from the options on the left side of the page, find your campaign and view Number of participants to determine how many people have joined your campaign.

 

Can I stop or cancel a campaign that I have created before the campaign end date?
Yes. After logging in, select Created Campaigns from the options on the left side of the page, find your campaign and click the icon under Edit. You will be taken to the edit screen of your campaign which will show you all of the areas that may be changed. Please note: If your campaign has already ended, you will not be able to edit it.

 

How do I join a campaign?
After logging in, select Search Campaigns from the menu bar across the top of the page. Click the Search button to view ALL of the active campaigns or perform a more advanced search by providing a keyword, category or city before clicking the Search button. Once the results are returned to you, simply click the campaign title link of the desired campaign to retrieve that particular campaign’s details. Click the Join Campaign button on the lower left and then the Confirm button on the lower left and you’re all set.

 

Can I make a call at a time other than the time I’ve scheduled?
Yes you can, however we encourage you to call during your scheduled time to ensure that your call is answered on the 1 st attempt and the campaign produces a steady flow of calls throughout the defined calling schedule.

 

Do I have to say what’s written in the “What to say” area of the campaign when I make my call?
No. The words provided in the “What to say” section of the campaign are provided as a “suggestion only”. Please feel free to say whatever you feel most accurately represents what you want the person to know about the issue at hand.

 

Why is the campaign I created now inactive?
Your campaign can become inactive by 1) Ending as specified by the “Call End Date” you provided when you created the campaign or 2) Administrative intervention – The campaign is on hold pending investigation.

How do I retrieve my userid or password?
Select Forgot Password from the member area on the left side of the screen.  Enter your email address and the information will be emailed to you.

 

How do I reset my password or user id?
After logging in, select Change Password on the left side of the page and follow the instructions provided to reset your password.

 

How do I change my account information?
After logging in, select Edit Profile on the left side of the page and follow the instructions provided to edit your information.

Site Abuse and Violation:

How do I report a campaign that seems inappropriate?
From the Campaign Details page, simply select the “Report Violation” button on the bottom right side of the page and complete and submit the information requested on the Report Violation Page.

 

I received a message that my campaign has been flagged with a violation. What do I do now?
The message should state why your campaign was flagged as a violation.  If you do not agree or have other questions, email your concern to support@floodthelines.com or call our support center at 407-574-2620 and one of our representatives will assist you.
